History of Mihai Sava Winery

History of Mihai Sava Winery

On the wine yards of Pojogana grows a large variety of grapes, out of which Mihai Sava wines are made. It’s located near Lake Costesti, measuring 240ha, enables to create perfect balance between sweetness and acidity, allowing us to produce quality wine. Grape processing takes place at the

wine cellar, which is family owned.

From 2015 the competitiveness project, founded by the American and Swedish governments through USAID is accessed. From that moment onwards we focused on quality. We produce and bottle dry white wines of the varieties: Sauvignon, Bianca, Traminer and Muscat Ottonel, rose wines out of

Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, and dry red wines of the Cabernet variety.

As well we provide services of wine tasting accompanied with traditional food for tourists hungry for adventure. Prices range from 250-450lei per person, depending on request.
